I pride myself on being an enthusiastic, highly focused and visually creative fashion design student, with a keen interest in the whole design and manufacture process. Utilising each creative discipline to inform my research and development, I am intrigued by adopting and collaborating individual art forms to create garment design with a fundamental focus on function, sustainability and the construction and deconstruction of form. Through team work and leadership tasks in my education and work experience, I have attained an excellent ability to rapidly learn and confidently apply new skills to all tasks delegated to me. With dual nationality in both the United Kingdom and New Zealand, I am greatly inspired by diversity in culture and sustaining craftsmanship and the artisan. My ethos is to combine conceptual design with innovative production to create sustainable, ethically considered garments.
